Need a video projection screen on the cheap?

Use a $20 plain white fabric shower curtain. Think of it as a large piece of fabric with no seams and holes at the top making it easy to hang.

You can even go the extra step of putting up a curtain rod or cable so that you can slide it out of the way when it's not in use.

(The trick here is to find a plain white cloth shower curtain... they usually plastic and covered in texture or decoration, so be prepared to shop around. -AM)
